Feel the rush of the hunt as you race through the raptor paddock on Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Florida’s tallest and fastest launch coaster. SPI had the unique opportunity to step into one of cinema’s most beloved—and thrilling—franchises to help bring this award-winning attraction to life in meticulous detail.

SPI engineered, designed, fabricated, and installed all the themed graphics throughout the attraction’s exterior and interior spaces. These graphics were carefully developed from original movie references and modified to support the VelociCoaster’s unique story, ensuring every sign and graphic feels as though it’s been lifted straight from the Jurassic World universe.

Beyond graphics, SPI researched, designed, fabricated, and installed an array of custom props that deepen the immersive narrative. Guests encounter raptor-proof chew toys, harnesses, Owen’s iconic vest, and even the subtle detail of the rippling “water cup” homage to the original Jurassic Park film—all crafted to be virtually indistinguishable from their big-screen counterparts.

SPI also produced themed lockers and props for the park’s ACU (Asset Containment Unit), the fictional security force responsible for containing escaped dinosaurs. Every element—from warning signage to specialized equipment—was designed to feel authentic, fully immersing guests in the tension and excitement of a raptor encounter.

Through this careful attention to detail, SPI’s work on VelociCoaster helps transport guests into the heart of Jurassic World, delivering the adrenaline, suspense, and cinematic storytelling that make this attraction an unforgettable adventure.
