Project Management

At SPI, project management isn’t just scheduling — it’s strategy, coordination, and accountability in motion. Our team leads every project with a builder’s mindset, ensuring clarity from design through installation. We manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and technical documentation with precision, keeping communication streamlined and decisions purposeful. From kickoff to completion, SPI’s project management process keeps complex, multi-disciplinary work on track — safely, efficiently, and with the craftsmanship our clients expect.

Project Kick-Off

Each project begins with a formal Kick-Off meeting that aligns our internal teams and client stakeholders. We define roles, responsibilities, scope, and schedules to create a roadmap that fosters transparency, trust, and shared momentum from the start.

Design

Our integrated design team translates ideas into fully engineered solutions. We provide 2D drafting, 3D modeling, custom lighting and signage design, material sampling, prototyping, and mockups. All design work is developed with fabrication in mind—bridging vision and constructability.

Fabrication

All approved designs move into our 39,000-square-foot fabrication facility, where we self-perform metalwork, woodworking, CNC machining, plastic and resin forming, welding, and more. By controlling the process, we eliminate shortcuts, maintain precision, and deliver unmatched quality.

Finishing & Detailing

Surface preparation and finishing are executed in-house by our certified paint team. Whether applying automotive-grade coatings or crafting or body working to a pristine finish, we treat each element with the same care—combining visual storytelling with performance-grade durability.

Scenic Carving & Thematic Finishes

Our scenic artists specialize in hand-carved, sculpted, and painted finishes that bring environments to life. From ghost graphics and woodgraining to layered faux finishes and themed textures, our scenic team merges artistry and material science to elevate every detail.

Assembly & Quality Control

Fabricated components are assembled in-house following rigorous quality assurance protocols. Each piece is reviewed by SPI leadership and client teams to ensure accuracy, durability, and design intent before packaging and shipment.

Installation

Installation begins long before arrival on-site. Our project controls group performs detailed field verification, coordinates rigging and foundation strategies, and confirms all hardware, connections, and methods. When needed, site visits and cast-in-place work are coordinated for smooth and precise execution.
